BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO YOJANA & SUKANYA SAMRIDHI ACCOUNT SCHEME
Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi launched the "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana" on January 22 to save girl child and to educate people about gender imbalance problem in the country.
He also launched a small deposit scheme "Sukanya Samridhi Account" for girl child as part of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Scheme which will provide higher interest rate of 9.1 per cent and income tax rebate. |
