WORLD ELDER ABUSE AWARENESS DAY (WEAAD)
International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA), which itself was founded in 1977, introduced WEAAD first on 15th June, 2006. Since then, it is being celebrated every year on the same day. The official slogan and color associated with WEAAD is "My World... Your World... Our World... Free of Elder Abuse" and "Purple" respectively.
